It's May! The birds are singing. The buds are out on the trees. It's time to knit for the spring and summer. I am busy knitting for my great niece and nephew in Calgary. I'm knitting cardigans for when it gets chilly in Calgary. I love to knit the top down cardigans. This way you don't have to sew anything when you're finished. Everything is knit all in one. You do have to knit on a circular needle as there are many stitches you have to work with. Ponchos are fun to knit for little girls and big girls too. There are many cotton yarns now on the market for knitting tops for the summer in many colours. Enjoy knitting or crocheting for the coming warmer days of spring and summer. Happy Knitting!

It's April. Spring is in the air. It's still cold though and people are still wearing scarves with their coats. My Mom knit my daughter a beautiful scarf. I'm finishing up two cardigans for the warmer weather. I have also started a sleeveless top for the hot days of summer. This top is a challenge as it has an inlay in the front. I love challenges in my knitting. So start a new project for spring. There are so many new cotton yarns in many colours to choose from. Happy Knitting!

It's March already!! Time for Spring. Time to knit spring time shawls and summer cotton sweaters. Lovely cardigans in vibrant colours for the spring weather. I love this time of year. The March break is almost here. This year is flying by. Christmas seemed just like it was yesterday. I'm starting a new adventure with my knitting. Leslie's Knitting Studio on the road. It's almost the middle of February. Time flies and this month is going fast. I'm busy knitting baby sweaters for preemie babies at the hospital. A little volunteer work. I'm going to start knitting cardigans for the spring. I have my hand knit items on Etsy under LesliesKnittingStudi. Have a look. I will be putting more items on Etsy soon. Happy New Year everyone. I'm busy knitting snoods for everyone in all colours of the rainbow. They keep you warm on a cold winter's night. My Christmas and New Year's was very quiet this year, which was nice. I plan on staying healthy this coming year. I have a routine colonoscopy this month, then that ends all my yearly tests for this year. I plan on starting up my own online store, to sell all my hand knits. I have accumulated quite a bit of items, whether it's baby blankets, sweaters, hats, mitts, yoga socks, shawls, sweaters for women and men. Also many colours of snoods. For those who don't know what a snood is, it is a combination of a scarf and hood. So lets start a knitting or crocheting a project for the winter weather we are having, or start knitting for your home. It's fun and a great stress reliever. Happy Knitting!

It's December! My favorite month of the year. The last month of the year. Time goes so quickly. This year I fit under the category, senior citizen. I don't feel like a senior. My health hasn't been great this year. Nothing life threatening though. So my studies in pharmacy will have to be put on a back shelf. I cannot stand for long periods of time. So I'm busy knitting. Knitting for Christmas. I hope I will be ready for Christmas.I have two new puppies in my family. They are keeping me busy. They will be twelve weeks old on Sunday and getting big. I should knit winter coats for them, for the cold weather. So pick up your needles or you crochet hook and begin a project for the holiday season. Happy Knitting, Merry Christmas.

It's November! Time to start knitting for Christmas. Hats, mitts, scarves, cowl neck warmers and shrugs are great gifts. I am busy knitting cardigans. There is nothing cozier then a bulky cardigan to wear on a cold winters night. So enjoy your November. Remember our heroes on Rememberance Day.
