It's December. Time is flying by. Must try and finish some of my projects I'm working on before Christmas. Hope to get lots knit on my Christmas break. Tis the season to be knitting. It"s November! It's cold outside. I'm getting ready for winter. Knitting lots of scarves, mitts, hats etc. Christmas is coming and there's lots to knit for presents under the tree. Last year I knit Christmas stockings. I also have new babies in the family being born in the New Year, so I'm busy with knitting gifts for those little ones. Lots to do on these cooler evenings. It's October! Fall is in the air. The nights are chilly, good sleeping weather. It gets you in the mood for knitting blankets for your comfy couch or your king or queen size bed. I have to get started on a blanket for my daughter as she has recently moved out with her boyfriend to a house of their own. I have been busy with school, but I hope to get started on it. My house is full of men, my husband and my three teenaged sons. I miss my daughter terribly, as there is no female conversation. Oh well, I'll keep myself busy knitting and studying. It's almost the end of September! Sorry I've missed keeping up with my blog. I'm a busy girl now. I'm back to school for Pharmacy Technician, but I'm still keeping up with my knitting. I'm still at the vending shop, selling my knitting. It's in Whitby on the corner of Brock St. and Mary St. The shop is called All Occasion Gifts (by Mom and Kid Stuff). The colder weather is upon us and I'll be knitting mitts, hats, scarves and fingerless gloves for kids and everyone who are busy with their hands in this cold weather, that is creeping up on us. Thanksgiving and Halloween are also coming soon. So get your Autumn colours and orange wool out to knit for the season. Happy Knitting!!

It's August!! The summer is winding down and almost time to start knitting for the winter. Did I say Winter? Ugh! Happy Canada Day!! It's a beautiful day. I'm busy knitting for the new shop called "All Occasion Gifts" in Whitby. Come out to the shop and meet many vendors. I'm selling many of my hand knit items there and continue to knit more. The kids are finished school for the summer and are celebrating Canada Day today. Enjoy your summer and keep knitting those projects. I'm taking calls and emails for lessons in the fall. So let me know, I'll be happy to teach anyone who is interested.

It's June already. I'm keeping busy knitting as I have a booth in Whitby. I will be selling all my hand knit items for a reasonable price. The store is called All Occasion Gift Baskets and Gifts. The grand opening is June 4th from 10am.-6pm. There will be many booths there also. I will have a lot of baby knits and some womens hats. So come and join us for my new and exciting venture. It's May! Time to really get ready for summer. The flowers are coming up and the trees are budding along with my allergies are beginning. It's April! Easter is around the corner. Have you ever knit Easter eggs? They are fun to knit and put in a wicker basket for decoration. Hopefully the weather will warm up and it's time to knit summer sweaters and sleeveless tops in a cool cotton colour. I'm still teaching knitting lessons, if anyone is interested in learning. It's March. Spring will be here! Although it doesn't look like spring with the snow on the ground. I'm still knitting for new babies and little girls. I'm also knitting Yoga socks for fun. I've found some new patterns for sleeveless tops for spring and summer.Even though spring is on it's way, don't stop knitting. There are lots of spring sweaters and tops to knit. Spring shawls are in fashion and easy to knit. Colourful socks for spring are easy to knit, with the many colours of sock wool out now. So have fun and continue to knit. It's very relaxing and calming. Knit some Easter Eggs and Happy Easter. Happy Knitting.

It's February! Time to knit for your loved ones. I'm almost ready to send out my crib blanket for my new nephew. He lives in Calgary,so I have to get it mailed out soon. Maybe I will knit a red scarf for Valentines Day. So wear red on this very heart felt day. Maybe red mitts or gloves. This would be a good project to work on as winter is still here. It's the middle of January. I hope everyone had a happy New Year. I'm so busy knitting baby things for my niece as the baby is due next week. She lives in Calgary so I also have to mail it out to her. I'm busy teaching knitting also. I'm looking at starting a Knitting Circle. If anyone is interested, let me know. Just five dollars to join every week. Come with your projects and have coffee or tea and some sweets and exchange patterns also! My family received snuggies for Christmas. They are like cowl necks and scarves for around your neck to keep you warm. They are fun to knit also. The winter season isn't over yet.
