Merry Christmas!! It's been fun getting ready for the Christmas season in the shop. It goes too fast and I'm very busy with knitting projects for other people for Christmas presents. I'm looking forward to knitting something for myself in the New Year. I'm also busy teaching sock knitting as the funky socks are right in style. The young and old are wearing beautiful colour socks with their suits to work and this makes a statement. People are excited about learning a new art and knitting and crocheting have now become the new go to for a craft. It's never been a dying art as some people tell me, it's just been a quiet art , if you know what I mean. Everyone seems to think the Old Ladies knit, but that's not true. Now a days young and old are in my Stitch-In-Time circle and everyone enjoys their company. So now I'll be getting ready for the New Year upon us and new orders of the Spring Yarns will be on the shelves for the Spring and Summer season. Time is going so quickly and each year seems shorter. Enjoy each day as it comes and be grateful for for what we do have, as I'm so very grateful for my shop Wool on William. Happy New Year and Happy Knitting!!

Well,It's been a long time writing this blog. I have been very busy with my new shop, Wool on William, in downtown Oshawa On. I'm currently working on a new blog starting up on my website for Wool on William. I'll do my best to keep everyone informed on this blog as to what project I'm working on etc. As of now, I have many knitting projects on the go for other people, clients of mine. A cardigan for a lady and two ponchos for twin girls. The cardigan is a Top Down pattern, which I love to do as there is not much sewing involved. I hate sewing!! The ponchos are pink and purple. The honey comb cable pattern throughout the pattern, which I have already made two and now two more. How about knitting or crocheting some red poppies for Remembrance Day. I think I will work on this today as I haven't bought one for this year. So I hope to keep this blog updated along with my new blog. I have been one busy girl, working and loving my passion of knit -ting in my little shop. Happy Knitting
